Conducted entirely in Mandarin, parents can witness the joy and benefit an immersive environment can offer their children.     Winter Solstice (冬至 Dōngzhì) is one of the most important Chinese festivals. Come join us for the celebration and welcome back the daylight during this fun and interactive morning. You and your child will learn how to make traditional Chinese dumplings and practice Chinese papercutting skills. We welcome children of all ages!

Watch your children’s eyes light up when they learn the science behind how it works. At the end of the session, you and your child will also be engaged in winter themed songs and stories in Mandarin and English. This is a child and caregiver event open to children of all ages.

    During the museum tour, you'll get a taste of our “Extended Classroom” concept, which integrates New York City's extensive cultural offerings into your child's learning experience. The Museum trip will include a highlight tour of the designated halls, including bilingual introductions in Mandarin and English on the various dioramas.
